Branding:  Nicole de Beaufort, Principal and Chief Idea Officer, Fourth Sector Consulting, LLC.
Nicole de Beaufort has spent more than a decade leading communications and branding efforts for foundation initiatives, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and small businesses. Nicole began her career as assistant director of a statewide breast cancer advocacy organization, a role which required close coordination with national associations, policymakers, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. She then worked as an account executive for an agency of Omnicom, Inc., where she built and directed strategic communications campaigns for divisions of the National Cancer Institute and other health agencies. After a sprint through Washington, DC's high technology public relations world as a media analyst for startup companies, she then moved to her present role as a communications and brand strategist for foundations, associations and government agencies. In addition to Select Registry, her current clients include WK Kellogg Foundation, Orfalea Funds, Wallace Center at Winrock International, Fair Food Foundation.

A native of Washington, DC., Nicole earned her B.A. in anthropology and sociology from Williams College. She currently resides Minnesota where she is a chair of Minnesota Women in Marketing and Communications, responsible for cultivating and increasing membership. She also contributes volunteer time to Slow Food Minnesota.

Media and Event Co-ordination:  Andrea Cournoyer, Andrea Cournoyer Consulting.
Andrea Cournoyer has served as Event Coordinator for two annual Select Registry membership meetings and has also been involved with several regional events.  Her conference experience includes managing trade shows, arranging speakers and presentations, media relations, and helping to organize a national culinary competition.  With a background as a freelance producer and voice talent, she has also assisted with media outreach, seeking print, broadcast and web-based coverage about Select Registry, its member properties and the organization’s special events. She assists with various ongoing marketing projects including an upcoming cookbook production and future culinary competition and has also produced video presentations about SR and its members.  Her training and experience as a television reporter and anchor gives her unique and valuable insights and contacts with the media.

Internet and Online Marketing:  Valerie Baten, Principal, Online Architecture, Inc.
Valerie Baten has been involved in the Internet since it first moved into the public view in 1994.  As Director of Online Communications for The Nature Conservancy, Valerie oversaw the launch of the first environmental site on then fledgling America Online, and soon after launched the Conservancy's web site http://nature.org/. The Nature Conservancy website was the first nonprofit site on the web, as well as the first to engage in online fundraising.
Valerie started Online Architecture in 1999.  Based in Indianapolis, Online Architecture offers a wide range of services, including strategic planning, web site development, online marketing, webcasting (live audio and video hosting) multimedia and CD-ROM/DVD development, and more. They serve a wide variety of clients, ranging from large foundations and corporations to small businesses, associations, and non-profits. Their client list includes Select Registry, Lilly Pharmaceuticals, the Kellogg Foundation, Harvard University, PETA and the American Bar Association.

Design and Layout:  Terri Wittman, Haas-Wittman Design.
Terri Haas-Wittman, owner of award-winning Haas-Wittmann Design, has worked in the forefront of the graphic design industry for more than 25 years. After working for 15 years as the Vice President and Creative Director for a prominent mid-Michigan design firm, Terri established Haas-Wittmann Design in 1997 to service the design needs of a wide range of national and regional clients. Recent clients include A.P. Capital, Henry Ford Health System, The W.K. Kellogg Foundation, Michigan State University, TMG E-media, and Select Registry. In 2003, examples of Terri's design work were published in Communication Arts – a prestigious monthly journal produced for design professionals.
